On Saturday 8th September I had the pleasure of being part of Eirian and Mikes wedding which was being held at St Johns Baptist Church in Troedyrhiw, Merthyr before heading down to Cardiff for the evening reception held at the Royal College of Music and Drama. What made the day so exciting for me was that Troedyrhiw is where I grew up and have fond memories of the village. The church has a large conker tree within its grounds and it was where I used to go and get my conkers as a kid. 

The weather was not kind to us all before the ceremony with heavy rain and dark skies. With the forecast looking good for the afternoon we dealt with the elements and by the time we got to Cardiff it was bright and dry, allowing us to get some great shots for them both.
