Oldwalls | Wedding | Photography | South Wales

MAY the 4th 2021, OLDWALLS Swansea, the venue of choice by Lauren and Dan for their wedding. After numerous dates canceled last year the date was going ahead regardless of the restricted numbers allowed.

Rewind 24 hours and across South Wales we had strong gales and torrential rain, not the ideal weather for a wedding so it was an absolute pleasure to see that the weather for this wedding was going to be dry. However, it did remain dry for the majority of the day but one thing that was still with us was the win and it wasn’t until we headed to Rhosilli Bay after the ceremony for a few photos did we noticed how bad it was and also how cold it was.

The day started with the traditional bride prep images and also assisting me on the day was fellow photographer Edmund Shum from Photography First who started the day with Dan for the groom prep.

Having taken a look around the venue I could see that there had been quite a few changes since I had last been there over a year ago. This meant new opportunities for bride and groom photos later in the night.

With the morning prep done, and the ceremony over, we headed outside for some family photos before heading off in the car to the beach. Due to the weather and only being able to get a few images there we headed back to Oldwalls with a very cold bride.

The rest of the day stayed very cold but that didn't stop us getting some great images from what was a brilliant day.

Below are some highlights from the day

Congratulations Lauren and Dan
